RTA Group is Hiring an Engineering Technician Near Odessa, TX
- Engineering BOMso Create and maintain engineering BOMso RFQ engineering BOMs
- Evaluate quotes and interface with engineers and buyerso P&IDso Ensure all line numbers, cross sheet arrows, tagging, andscope/spec breaks are correct and consistent
- Incorporate design information into equipment title blockso Participate in walk downs and confirm equipment aligns withP&IDs prior to shipmento Engineering Documents
- Create PSV and control valve data sheets, populate all non-calculation data, Generate PDFso Create cause & effect matrix, populate the documentexcluding the actions and setpoints
- Create utility spreadsheets, line list, paint list, shipping list,spare parts list, etc.
- oMake certain Document Control receives correct designdocuments, IOMs, and vendor data books; Review Job Bookbefore shipment
- Exhibits professionalism by establishing effective relationships withother employees
- Manages individual time by building due dates into assignments andthen prioritizes work to accomplish more in less time
- Good organization and prioritization skills to execute work accurately,handle multiple priorities, and analyze reports and trend activitieso Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Position is largely sedentaryo Repetitious hand and finger dexterity to communicate via email andcellphone
- Extensive visual and auditory observation during work
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
